The Business Recovery COLD enables your company to utilize a remote battery of machines (iSeries, pSeries, zSeries, xSeries, or other INTEL or UNIX OS), remaining in a “standby” status until your need for data recovery is required. Whenever your disaster event occurs, the standby machine will be powered up, all system data will be restored from backup media saved by you.
After the standby machine is ready, CBSI provides a duplicate tape drive attached for the restore from your saved media. Following the restortation, connectivity to your users will be established and your production environment is ready to use. The CBSI DR Facility guarantees the maximum machine availability with built-in redundancy for power, A/C, connectivity, and security. The diagram below illustrates floorplan.
